Instructional Materials Design for Indigenous Language Revitalization
Curriculum development and materials design for indigenous language revitalization. Builds on students knowledge of an indigenous langauge, such as Ojibwe or Dakota. Students will think and read about design, learn to evaluate other materials, and mainly,create their own materials to be shared with classmates. Text, audio and multimedia will all be introduced in this class. Some working knowledge or ability to create materials in a digital format is assumed.
